What Are The False “Stories” We Create In Our Minds?
By definition “story” means imaginary or real events told for entertainment or an account of past events.
The word “story/stories” used here refers to our own interpretation of people, words, events, actions, and experiences based on our perception.
It is created by the mind and we believe in the stories with tendency to latch on to it.
At times these stories are just an illusion but we believe in it so much that we base our decisions and actions on this illusion.
It is mind created suffering and unhappiness.
And guess what is the culprit of this? The ego! The ego is the storyteller.
Our goal is to stop believing in these stories we tell ourselves and eventually stop telling stories all together.
